I've been bad and I haven't posted here in two months or so. Sometimes real life just gets in the way. The year is drawing to a close so I plan to update this more often with posts of some of my favorite things from this year music, books, movies, etc.


I don't feel up to a big post right now. I have a cold, a snow storm is moving in and I have to get up early for work.

that I've lost mind, but I'm loving my current fandom/obession so much that I really couldn't care a less.



I don't do actual posts all that often. I guess I have nothing of great interest to say.   My day consists of work, reading, taking care of Zoe(my dog)  and fangirling (is that a word?)  like crazy.

Last nights episode was good.  I like all the characters, but this season Eliot is holding my heart.  Leverage just makes my Wednesdays.   :)

The best thing I've done was wait in line to get autographs (and get to touch) my two favorite American Idols. 

The best thing I've seen is a tie between  watching Danny and Adam perform live and finally getting to see Half Blood Prince.

I saw the new Harry Potter movie today!  I thought it was really good.  It is one of the better ones in my opinion.   Dan, Emma, Rupert and Tom have really become great actors.    I enjoyed it and really want to see it again.   I'd say more but then I'd have to put it under a cut and LJ doesn't seem to like me to do them.      Between this movie and meeting my favorite American Idols and new Leverage all in the same week, it is going to be a struggle to focus at work tomorrow.

I loved it!  The cast was wonderful. The team is back and better then ever.    This season is going to be great! 

I know some people will disagree with me, but really I couldn't care a less.


Adam Lambert and Danny Gokey are freaking awesome!!!!!!!! I love them!!  They have a fabulous stage presence, great voices and heart melting smiles.      *sigh*    They are also really nice to fans.     :)

R.I.P.  Farrah Fawcett and Michael Jackson.  My thoughts and prayers are with their families and friends.  They'll both be missed.

I am so glad that summer is finally here.   This week we actually had sun and warm temps.  It was a great improvement from the rain and thunder storms that happened most of June.

On Friday I get to go on a mini vacation and I get to shop and shop some more.   This means new books! and lots of other stuff.  I have been saving up for this trip for 7 months so I will not feel guilty for spending a lot this weekend. Its my money and I can do what I want with it.   At least that is what I keep telling myself. Who knows what will happen when I actually get shopping.


July is going to be a crazy/fun/exciting/emotional month for me.   I have a lot to look forward to, including my 21th B-day on July 8th!

 

Anyway,  I hope my f-list has a great weekend! 

Hello all,

I'm feeling better and much less stressed.  I've gotten things to a point where I feel I am back in control of my life.

We've had a lot of rain here in Wyoming over the last couple of weeks, but it is supposed to start getting warmer and sunnier this week.  It will be nice to start summer.  

My dog, Zoe had to visit the vet twice and take a ton of pills, but she is now back to her old self and no longer sick which is awesome.

I get to go on a weekend vacation shopping trip in like 11 days which I think is just what I need right now.

I hope everyone on my f-list is well and thank you to everyone who gave me support over the last few weeks, it meant a lot to me!

and now I'm out.

But,  due to my currently poor state of mental health I will be absent from here for a while. 


I hope all of my f-list stays happy, healthy and safe.

I just finished reading Fragile Eternity (twice) by Melissa Marr.  I loved it.  Each book in her series is better than the previous.  I can't wait to see what Melissa has planned for the 4th book.  Now I'm reading a book called Truancy by Isamu Fukui  and it is freaking awesome!   I'm only half way through and it is quickly becoming one of my favorites.

As if I don't have enough to do I'm starting 3 new anime series.  I think I'm going to start with Kuroshitsuji as it looks the best.

If I'm not at work lately it seems like I'm doing house work.  It seriously leaves time for little else.    


On a positive note my mom has promised me a shopping trip at the end of this month, as long as the weather is nice on the day we both have off.  

And speaking of time flying by, it seems like not too long ago Supernatural season 4 was just starting and this week it ends!  Guh, It has been one heck of a season though.  Kudos to the whole SPN team! 


I wish I had more to say, but  you guys don't want to hear about all the idiots who come into the library.

I have to post to say that I really enjoyed last nights episode. I know others won't feel the same and that's okay.  I found it to be a good addition to the story line and truthfully a little sad.    Jensen and Jared were great. The writing was good.  I'm also glad they added in the tribute to Kim Manners.

Work has kept me super busy these past few weeks.   My schedule was all weird cause other people were gone on vacation.  It actually had me pretty exaused, but things are back to normal now. 

The weather here has been great the past few days, sunny and warm, just how I like it.   I can't wait until I can take a vacation myself.

Yesterday at work my boss decides I'm going to help her put away the tables from the book sale the library had last weekend. Anyway, I spent over an hour helping her move really heavy tables and now my arms are killing me.  I don't get why 2 of us had to put the tables away, when 8 of us set them up.  It really kinda sucked, but I like the money I get so I kept my mouth shut.

I plan to go back over my f-lists posts to see what all I've missed. Hopefully nothing too important.

I am so glad today is Friday.  I am feeling lots better.  My dizziness is almost gone thanks to the meds the doctor gave me.  

I get paid today, which is great.   Its a sunny day here, which is nice because I am sick of all the snow.

I'm working on a Leverage ficlet, that I may post here later this weekend if I think it turns out okay.

And now I have to go get ready for work.

3D movies are awesome!  I still don't like horror movies, at all!!!  This was scary, but  I think a better word to describe it is graphic.  I don't want to spoil it for anyone, so I'll just say it was really graphic.  There are just some things I never needed to see.  Anyway.... Jensen Ackles was wonderful.  I loved seeing him on the big screen.  He needs to do more movies once he is done with Supernatural. Though I would prefer if they are more like Ten Inch Hero and less BLOODY Valentine.  Yeah, all in all it was a good movie.

I have no idea why I haven't posted here in the last 10 days other than I've been trying to keep up with all of my fandoms.  I have too many and I have to decide which ones mean the most to me, because I just can't keep up with them all. 


Work has been stressing me lately.  The library director has been chewing out the department heads lately for stupid stuff.  While it has nothing to do with me, I've created some new projects to work on so that I'm extra buzy  so that no one can say I'm not doing enough.  


I loved this weeks new Psych.  It was so funny.  I'm so glad new episodes have started. Shawn is so awesome and I'm really liking Lassiter this season.     And speaking of new episodes yay! that SPN is going to be new this week. I need some Dean and Sam!  Jensen looks really good in all his interviews and stuff to promote his new movie, which I can't wait to see.  I just hope I can find a theater around here that will get it.  Oh and my new show Leverage.  So awesome!  It seems like each episode it gets better and better.  Christian Kane is great as Eliot Spencer.  This show is my new little obsession right now. lol


I really thought I had more to say than this, but my mind is a little foggy today.

Hello everyone!  I hope everyone's weekend is going good.  My family and I are going to go see Bedtime Stories in theaters today. It looks cute.

My Christmas was good.  I got a portable DVD player and some dvds of course, to go with it.   I also got a Harry Potter Clue game!  It combines my fav game with one of my fandoms which rocks!

I've been busy these last few days cleaning and what not so that I can have a new start this new year. ( and maybe have a better year than this one.   2008 wasn't all bad, but it had some awful moments that I would like to do without in 2009)
